Dr Igor Klepikov gained his MD from Kemerovo State Medical University, USSR, in 1971. He has worked as a general and paediatric surgeon, and actively worked as a specialist surgeon after emigrating up until his retirement. He achieved the greatest success of his scientific career while studying the dynamics of the inflammatory process in the lungs, supplementing the classical materials of medical science with the results of his research. His new views on the nature of acute nonspecific lung inflammation have been successfully clinically tested. It has allowed him to substantiate the possibility of guaranteed prevention of complications of lung inflammation. He has published more than 300 scientific papers.
